· Valid trains are below;
- - Reserved seats on Bullet Train "SANYO SHINKANSEN" (Shin-Osaka⇔Okayama)
  · The pass can be used for the Hello Kitty Shinkansen.
- - Reserved seats on Limited Express Trains.
- * For reserved seating, ensure you book your seats before boarding the train.

Kansai WIDE Area Excursion Pass is not available for purchase at JR-West ticket offices or JR-WEST ONLINE TRAIN RESERVATION.

- Adult: 12 or over 12 years old when an exchange order issued or a rail pass purchased
- Child: 6-11 years old when an exchange order issued or a rail pass purchased
- * An Adult's or Child's rail pass holder can accompany up to 2 infants (1-5 years old) for free.
- * The infants from the third one will require Child's rail passes for each.
- * Babies aged under 1 year old can be accompanied for free.
- * Child's rail passes will be required for each infant in the following situations:
  - 1. When accompanied infants use Reserved seats by themselves
  - 2. When infants travel by themselves

Availability and Use

· A rail pass is purchasable up to 1month in advance of the first day of use.
· A rail pass is valid for consecutive days.
· The validity of a rail pass starts from 12 a.m.

Reserving a Reserved Seat Ticket

· Reserved seat tickets can be reserved at each exchange locations and JR-WEST Ticket offices in available area.

Changes / Refunds before exchange

- Please ask the travel agency where you purchased your passes.
- A separate refund fee might be required.
- It cannot be canceled at NIPPON TRAVEL AGENCY stores.

Changes / Refunds after exchange

- The starting date of the rail pass and the duration cannot be changed after purchasing.
· Refund locations: Only for issued or exchanged rail passes
If a rail pass has already been exchanged, refunds are only possible at the ticket counters of JR West stations. (Travel agencies where the pass was purchased cannot refund an already exchanged rail pass.)
- Refund price: the sale price minus a handling fee (10% of the price: Minimum 220 yen per one rail pass)
- No refund will be given after a rail pass starts to be used or expired
- No refund will be given due to non-availability of service, delays, or similar issues

· Rail passes are only valid for the rail pass holder.
· Presentation of your passport when requested by JR staff is required to use a rail pass. Please keep your passport together with your rail pass.
· Lost or stolen rail passes cannot be reissued.
· The conditions of use for rail passes are stipulated in JR-West’s Conditions of Carriage and by Japanese law.
· The terms and conditions of use for exchange orders are stipulated by the regulations and agreements of the issuing company.
· For any discrepancies between foreign language versions and the Japanese version of the Conditions of Carriage, the Japanese version shall prevail.

[NOTICE] Sanyo Shinkansen Passengers

· Starting May 20, 2020, passengers bringing baggage with dimensions totaling more than 160 cm but less than 250 cm on three sides (oversized baggage) on Sanyo Shinkansen are required to reserve a seat with an oversized baggage area. Shinkansen passengers with oversized baggage may use a reserved seating JR-WEST RAIL PASS and a section ticket, or a separate Unlimited Ride Oversized Baggage Ticket (available for purchase at JR-West Ticket Offices in major JR-West stations) if using a non-reserved seating JR-WEST RAIL PASS. Please ask a station attendant for more details.
