Amenities and Security

Barrier-Free, Comfortable, and Simple Amenities

The Hokuriku Shinkansen are equipped with women-only powder rooms/restrooms and wheelchair-accessible restrooms, and all Western-style restrooms offer a washlet with a heated seat. Other amenities have also been improved upon, from power outlets for all seats to Braille written on seat numbers. In addition, all lighting within the train uses LEDs, making the Hokuriku Shinkansen environmentally friendly.
