How to board conductorless trains
Trains between Gobō and Shingu Stations are conductorless trains
with the exception of some trains. See below for train boarding
instructions.
Manned stations in Gobō, Kii-Tanabe, Shirahama, Kushimoto, Kii-Katsuura, and Shingu
- When boarding

Touch your IC card on the BLUE IC card reader at the ticket gate, and board the train.
- When alighting

After getting off the train, touch your IC card on the YELLOW IC card reader at the ticket gate.
Unmanned stations between Gobō and Kii-Tanabe Stations
- When boarding

Touch your IC card on the BLUE IC card reader at the ticket gate, and board the train from the first door of the first car.
- When alighting

Alight from the first door of the first car and touch your IC card on the YELLOW IC card reader at the ticket gate.

Rules for safe use

Be sure to secure your bicycle in the car with a rubber strap or rope. If you do not have anything to secure your bicycle, please ask a station attendant or crew member.

Move your bicycle only after the train stops.

Do not ride your bicycle on the station platform.

Elementary school students and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

You must carry your bicycle yourself. Keep your distance from other passengers.

Keep your bicycle within the yellow braille blocks.
