ACCESS STEP

1. JR Kyoto Station

   Move to the Sagano Line platform in JR Kyoto Station.
   Take any train leaving platforms 32 or 33!
   *Some trains depart from platform 31.

2. Boarding time : About 6 min.

   Nijo Station

   Get off at Nijo Station.When you leave the ticket gate, turn left and exit the station through the East Gate.

3. About 17 min on foot

   

   Pass the taxi stand and turn left.

4. 

   Take a right at the first intersection and walk straight ahead.
   * Look out for the junior high school wall.

5. 

   Keep walking and you’ll eventually come across Nijo Castle.
   Walk along the bank of Nijo Castle’s moat.

6. Nijo Castle

   You’ve reached Nijo Castle!
